The efficient integration of the dual mode physical layer and dual mode protocol stack is optimized for maximum performance, power-efficiency, small size, and low cost. We have an arrangement with a leading semiconductor fabricator assuring state-of-the processes and quality, and a steady supply.
Advanced Receiver Technology
Our best-in-class Advanced Receiver Technology operates with a single antenna or dual antenna diversity. This high performance receiver maximizes throughput and coverage, differentiating these baseband ASICs from the competition.
The IPC6071 R6 baseband ASIC targets PC Cards and other high-performance data-intensive products and applications, featuring throughputs of up to 7.2 Mbps in the downlink and up to 1.5 Mbps in the uplink. Its successor devices will provide up to 10Mbps downlink and 5.8 Mbps uplink in a “slim modem” architecture that addresses both data cards for notebooks and ultra mobile PCs and the high-end feature phone/smart phone market segment.
