What Do We Need to Do to get 5G to Really Support AI and Machine Learning
Webinar / Feb 2020

The breakneck development of AI and ML over the last few years has made it challenging for the 3GPP 5G specification cycle to incorporate fundamental concepts of AI and ML into their core fabric. While Google, Amazon and Netflix re-invent and enhance their business offerings by integrating new AI/ML ideas, 5G specifications barely offer mobile operators any guidance on how to make their 5G networks truly AI/ML enabled.

This panel will explore the current relationship between AI/ML and 5G and how AI will influence wireless communications. Panelists from across network operators and 5G infrastructure will discuss what industry must do to better support AI/ML-enabled networks and how much AI/ML we can reasonably expect in 5G in our near future.
