InterDigital Dynamic Spectrum Management. How it works.


Channeling all our power into the inventiveness behind DSM - Dynamic Spectrum Management. What is DSM? It is the process of combining shared spectrum frequencies with Wi-Fi or LTE to achieve a better end-user experience.


How does DSM work? Because TVWS frequency usage is a location-specific augmentation.


We use our technology to determine which TVWS channels are available to be utilized in the device's area.


Then InterDigital technology senses which of these channels has the least amount of interference.


Our Interference Management System then chooses four channels to aggregate with Wi-Fi having the least amount of interference.


Very intelligent management system. Our management system offers non-contiguous aggregation, the most flexible augmentation to a user's device.


If a channel deteriorates, our technology will change that channel to the next best candidate channel.


This is all made possible through our unique, state-of-the-art wideband radio which digitizes the complete frequency spectrum and aggregates on the fly. Here's how it works! LTE solution platform architecture.
