SKIP MALONEY is InterDigital’s EVP and Chief People Officer. Mr. Maloney joined InterDigital in 2023 after serving as Chief Human Resource Officer at Aspen Technologies, Inc. since 2018. In addition to leading the company’s global people strategy, he also oversees InterDigital’s Information Services function, aligning digital capabilities and enterprise technology to accelerate innovation and operational excellence.
A Boston native, Mr. Maloney is an industry veteran of more than 25 years and has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, culture transformation, organizational and leadership development, and serving as a liaison between management and the Board of Directors. He has a long track record of delivering creative solutions that optimize global workforce performance, with particular emphasis on executive coaching, predictive analytics, and talent strategies for growth-minded organizations.
Prior to Aspen Technology, Mr. Maloney served as Chief Human Resources Officer at NetScout Systems, Inc., where he led HR and drove enterprise-wide programs focused on operational efficiency and organizational performance for a global workforce of more than 3,000 employees across 40+ countries. Previously, he was Vice President of Human Resources at Lake Region Medical, where he led both HR and the Information Services function, enabling technology modernization in support of the company’s rapid expansion and global operations. Earlier in his career, he also led HR functions at Brooks Automation and Mercury Computer Systems.
Mr. Maloney is a Certified Professional Executive Coach, a supporter of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste (AEPW), and a frequent speaker at human resource leadership forums throughout the United States and Europe.
