InterDigital Engineer Addressed M2M Security Concerns in CommNexus Panel
On June 26, CommNexus hosted a panel discussion, Making M2M: Secure and Economically Viable, in San Diego, CA. InterDigital’s Phillip Brown joined the panel, which included industry experts from Tagnos, ViaSat and Verizon Wireless and was moderated by a product manager from Qualcomm.
The panel argued that one of the most important barriers to complete M2M adoption is security risks. Any solutions to potential security threats need to be both effective and economical in order to make the technology viable and marketable overall.
